Could Jim Carrey be on the romance comeback trail, after the break up with Jenny McCarthy? Looks like he could be. After a break up with Jenny McCarthy earlier this year, it seems he is again looking for love, or at least something close to it. Carrey was spotted, according to Hollywood News, in a New York Club called The Lion with a hot, new, Brazilian lady in tow, flirting into the evening.
Carrey may ha
ve been worried that his love life might end up in McCarthy's book, "Love, Lust & Faking it: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies and True Romance", but she says she wants to respect his privacy, according to AceShowbiz. This is surprising, considering she really could launder his name to help sell the book, so it really seems it is the truth when McCarthy says the two are still friends. Only time will tell if she just hasnt had the proper monetary motivation to tell what went on behind closed doors.
Carrey was last married in 1997 to Lauren Holly, in a marriage that lasted less than a year. Prior to that, Carey was married to Melissa Carey from 1987 to 1995. This marriage gave Carrey his daughter Jane Carrey, who made him a grandpa in February of this year with the birth of Jackson Riley Santana. It doesn't seem Carrey wastes time reflecting on what went wrong with either of the two relationships, but apparently he knows what he likes, and isn't afraid to look for it.
Currently Carrey only has one film in the works. Mr. Popper's Penguins, which has a 2011 release date, is in pre-production. The film seems like it is going to take us back to Carrey's earlier comedy style, telling the story of a businessman who inherits six penguins and decides to turn his apartment into a penguin habitat, but finds his professional life beginning to take a turn for the worse as a result.
Hopefully he gets back to his earlier movie styling like Liar Liar. He may be able to tackle most any role, but zany comedy is where he excels. We also hope that he finds the woman of his dreams and finds happiness who ever he settles down with.

He should make another sequel to Liar, Liar.
And, subtitle it, Pants on Fire.
