The New York City Ballet (NYCB) held its fall gala on October 7. The David Koch Theatre at the Lincoln Center was the setting for the event who had Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman and Sarah Jessica Parker, among others, as guests.
“Sex and the City‘s†Sarah Jessica, recently elected as a member of the board of directors for NYCB, was all aglow in a nude gown. WWD on Twitter spotted the 45 year old star in a Halston Heritage dress that shimmered and flowed beautifully on Sarah Jessica. The very low back and train added even more drama.
Sarah layered on the jewels with earrings and necklaces. Perhaps she could have done without the longer piece, and maybe a different evening bag, instead of the Halston Heritage Sac bag that seemed a little out of place. In any case, Sarah wore a beautiful dress that she looked amazing in.
Also in shimmery attire was Geri Halliwell. She attended the, “Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show,†in London. Geri’s black gown had quite a revealing neckline and it seemed as if the dress’ armholes were a little tight. The long gown did make Geri look tall and curvy. And with her hair in glamorous curls, lovely make-up and that meaningful pink ribbon pinned on her dress, it was, all in all, a great look for the Spice Girl.
