Christina Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman are splitsville. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Christina's heart-to-heart talks with her gal pals helped her make the decision to break it off with an inattentive husband. The chats took place on a girls-only weekend to Cabo San Lucas. Previous reports including one by the New York Post blamed a "wild girls weekend" which lead to the couple's split.
So who are these gal pals being blamed for urging Christina Aguilera to separate from husband Jodan Bratman? They are Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson (Lindsay Lohan's reported love interest), according to the Post and the Times. Sometimes couples live in situations that are the healthiest, happiest or the most fulfilling. It takes the clarity of objective eyes to gain some perspective. For Christina, that included being reminded what was "missing" from her relationship. Or maybe Nicole Richie needed another single mom friend to pal around with.
Christina Aguilera, according to the report, felt "neglected" by her husband. With a busy music career and work on her new movie, 'Burlesque,' it's not surprising time together became an issue between the couple.
The Couple: Happier Days
