Bill O’Reilly Causes an Eruption on ‘The View’
Bill O’Reilly of Fox Network was a guest on ‘The View’ Thursday and left a very bad impression for the hosts and probably a great number of viewers that tuned in. O’Reilly’s remark about Muslims led to the walk off of host Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.
So what led up to the walk off of the two hosts? O’Reilly, who was getting himself worked up about President Obama’s low ratings in regards to the building of a Muslim mosque controversy in New York, tried to explain to ‘The View’ why building a mosque is inappropriate.
O’Reilly said this statement in regards to building a mosque, “It’s inappropriate because a lot of the 9/11 families who I know, say look, we don’t want that.” In the meantime Joy Behar is at O’Reilly’s side saying, “But this is America!” O’Reilly fired back moments later stating, “Seventy percent of Americans don’t want that Mosque down there!”
Whoopi stepped in, asking O’Reilly, “Why is it inappropriate?” And that’s when O’Reilly dropped the bombshell statement: “Because Muslims killed us on 9/11.”
Wow! So that’s how you really feel O’Reilly?! Did anyone tell O’Reilly, who seems to be ethnocentric at this point, that not all Muslims are terrorists? Whoopi flipped her lid on O’Reilly in such a way that the network had to bleep out her comment. O’Reilly and the hosts were jabbing words back and forth; it was a bit hard to distinguish what was being said for the next minute, but Whoopi and Joy did walk off the stage and later returned.
We can probably bet O’Reilly will have much explaining to do in the upcoming days and weeks!

According to the new survey out Wednesday, nearly 70 percent of all Americans oppose the controversial plan to build the mosque just blocks away from the solemn site in lower Manhattan while just 29 percent favor the construction.
Broken down by party affiliation, 54 percent of Democrats oppose the plans while 82 percent of Republicans disapprove. Meanwhile, 70 percent of independents said they are against the proposal.
The poll also showed opposition did not vary widely by age.
"Support for the controversial project is slightly higher among younger Americans than older Americans, but even among those under the age of 50, six in ten oppose the plan," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

On the other hand, I think Whoopi and Joy need to act more like professional talk show hosts. You're not always going to agree with your guests. But you can't get overemotional and walk out on them.
You know the overuse of that word by the liberals is weakening it's meaning.
Liberals and Dems only care about African-Americans if they vote the Democrat ticket. They despise them if they're Republicans and refer to them as Uncle Toms. So try to pull the wool over someone else's eyes.

He did not say ALL Muslims' killed us.... Just as it was Japanese who killed us at Pearl Harbor, but not all Japanes, there were some who disagreed with the Emperor....
Those two are on a show called The View and obviously THEIR view is the only one that counts. As far as I'm concerned those two can walk out and stay out if they can't be tolerant of other's opinions. If they were gone I might watch that show once in a while. But they are just too radical themselves.

As far as I'm concerned he has no explaining to do. But I have heard that the tape is going to be played on his show and I'm interested in what he has to say about what went on.

Why do people insist on painting McVey as an agnostic when he was a Christian?
One of the reasons he committed this act was in support of David Koresh(sp?) and the Waco incident.
And Terry Nichols attorneys used God in their defense of him to the point that it irritated people in the courtroom.
Maybe because he said that he was an agnostic, just like Obama says that he is a Christian. Should I not believe that Obama is a Christian even though he said that he is?
He was angry at the government and their handling of not only the Waco incident but also what happened at Ruby Ridge.
I went to church when I was a kid. Does that make me a Christian? Hell, they might even have a service for me when I die. That's not my fault.

No he didnt Lera. McVey left very few papers. People have speculated that he was an agnostic but since he isnt around to say and he did take final communion..something an agnostic might or might not do. It could go either way.

Both are truthful statements. I applaud anyone the courage to tell the truth! Too bad, you don't champion the truth but prefer to live in denial. I'm not talking about a river...
