Beyonce, the 29 year old singing superstar, is pregnant! No longer a rumor, now the mom to be can start getting ready for a life with a youngster, and her husband Jay-Z. This will be the first child for the singer, and definitely a change in lifestyles that she and her husband may have enjoyed until now.
Is Beyonce ready for motherhood? According to US News, two sources close to Beyonce had two somewhat different answers. One source said "B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet," adding "She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again." She can still do these things, but now a nanny or a daycare will have to watch her child, or she could always take the child with her. The other source gave a different version of Beyonce's reaction saying "this is a gift from God and she's so happy."
Can she be both a superstar and mom? Mothers have been doing just that for ages, and Beyonce should be no different. At 29, she is old enough to know where her responsibilities are.
