"Teen Mom" Amber Portwood Pregnant Again?

Is "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood pregnant yet again? It sounds like it may be so, as the pregnancy was purportedly discovered while Portwood was vacationing with sometimes-fiance Gary Shirley and their daughter Leah.

According to MSN, however, nothing has been confirmed, and Jordan Sanchez, a friend of Shirley's says it wouldn't come as any big surprise if she was faking the pregnancy to gain Shirley's attention.

"Yes, I've heard that Amber is pregnant. Amber does manipulate Gary. Pretending to be pregnant could just be another example of her trying to manipulate him and keep people interested in the show," Sanchez says.

Amber Portwood is presently under investigation for domestic assault by officials in Indiana after attacking Shirley in the presence of their daughter. She should definitely not be having another child!

This is just further proof that shows like this one are about as far from "reality" as Martians landing on the earth. How many teen parents can even think about going on vacation? Most of them are barely able to pay their rent and buy food and clothing.

The real travesty in shows like these is that naive teenagers could easily believe that these "reality" shows are based on truth, and figure "why not get pregnant?" and live the life of a TV star.

So is Amber Portwood of "Teen Mom" pregnant again? Who knows? If so, could it have been done to boost ratings for the "Teen Mom" reality show?

This entire concept of shows like this one can be summed up in just one word: sick.
