Good help may be hard to find, but, apparently, it's even harder to keep. Especially for Kate Gosselin. The Kate Plus Eight reality star has just lost nanny number twelve who, like the preceding eleven, quit. Apparently, Kate is not the world's best boss. According to Life & Style Magazine, Gosselin is "controlling and a neat freak. She has gone through about 11 nannies and tons of helpers in the past few years."  Not only is Gosselin a demanding employer, but the work environment she provides is often inconsistent and chaotic. "Shifts can last up to 24 hours, and you have to go on trips with the family. Sleepovers are often required, and there is no set schedule with days off.  You work when Kate says she needs you to work."
Gosselin has often been criticized for leaving her children to pursue new Hollywood opportunities such as her tenure on Dancing With The Stars.  Now that her Kate Plus 8 reality show is not on TV, Gosselin should be able to spend more time personally taking care of her octo-brood. That will not only be better for the kids, it will also enable her to save the $25 per hour salaries, she formerly paid her passing parade of nannies.  Right?
Wrong. Apparently, "Kate is unavailable to her children. She never plays with them anymore and is constantly busy with her personal affairs. That's why she always needs a nanny!". If that is true, here's hoping Gosselin finds a new nanny soon. Hopefully one who will hang in there for the children's sake.
