From Demi Moore in Austria, to Sienna Miller in Germany, to Juliette Lewis in Hollywood, soft-colored gowns are having their day on the red carpet. While Sienna kept it on-trend with lace, she chose a pale pink hue that stood out from the recent black and red lace dresses we have been seeing. Demi went for a dusty rose while Juliette’s gown was a pale lavender.
At the UNESCO Charity Gala in Dusseldorf, Germany, on October 30, Sienna Miller stood alongside designer Donatella Versace and actor Armin Mueller-Stahl in a Stella McCartney gown. The British actress looked lovely in her pale pink lace and satin dress. The amount of exposure was somewhat softened by the dress’ long sleeves and delicate, pink color. If only her beautiful gown was resistant to wrinkles, her look would have been more successful. A chic updo and a dazzling necklace completed Sienna’s outfit.
Also in Europe, Demi Moore attended the PlusCity Charity Gala in Austria on October 29. Demi Moore showed her loyalty to the Victoria Beckham Collection by wearing another one of Victoria Beckham’s designs. Demi looked long, lean and beautiful in the draped, one-shoulder gown.
For the Hollywood premiere of Robert Downey’s latest movie, “Due Date,†on October 28, Juliette Lewis chose a Zac Posen gown from his Resort 2011 collection. Juliette looked lovely in the ladylike dress with its soft, layered ruffles. A pair of Jimmy Choo heels completed her look.
