Hot on the heels of the announcement that Jessica Simpson is engaged to former San Francisco 49er and current NFL free agent Eric Johnson, her boyfriend of a mere five months, pictures have surfaced of the someday-to-be Mrs. Johnson’s brand-new engagement ring.
As reported by People magazine, while meeting fans at an in-store signing at a Dillard's in Overland Park, Kansas, Jessica flashed the ring – a three-stone Neil Lane with a big fat ruby in the center and a diamond to either side.
“She was in a really good mood,†an eyewitness at the store told People magazine. “She was very friendly and sweet. She signed autographs and seemed to have a great time.â€
Eric and Jessica have yet to set a date for their nuptials, but one thing seems certain – if the engagement ring is any indication, the wedding ring should be as bright as the smile Jessica’s flashing.
