In an effort to promote their new movie, "Love and Other Drugs," actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathway posed nude for three different covers of "Entertainment Weekly" magazine.
According to Popeater, Gyllenhaal and Hathaway are frequently nude in the film, so posing as such for the magazine covers seemed right in line with what they've been doing.
Posing nude would make most anyone a bit uncomfortable, but posing nude for both a film and a magazine cover that will be viewed by millions seems like it could be downright nerve wracking.
James White was the photographer who did the shoot, and he was impressed with how relaxed the two actors seemed in each others presence.
"I thought they'd be a little more tense about it than they were, but it was surprisingly low-key. I guess after making a movie like that with each other, it's not too big of a deal," he said.
In the article that accompanied the "EW" photos, Anne Hathaway was quoted as saying she felt a bit uncomfortable at first about doing the nude scenes with Jake Gyllenhaal, but learned to get over it as best she could.
"There is that revoltingly embarrassing moment when you have to take your clothes off in front of strangers," Hathaway confessed.
Clearly they both got over their embarrassment....at least to some acceptable degree, because they managed to complete the film as well as the photo shoot for the three separate "Entertainment Weekly" covers.
"Love and Other Drugs" will be in theaters on November 24.
