Steven Slater raps? Yes, he does. He isn't looking to be the next Eminem or Dr. Dre, but he rapped as part of his new job. He has signed an endorsement deal with Line2. That is a company that deals with cell phones and in-flight services. He managed to stay involved with the flight industry! He is still quite the celebrity in those circles, but those fifteen minutes should be up soon!
If you have the Line2 cell phone app installed on your phone and the airplane has WiFi, you are good to go as far as texting while in the air. Yes, people that can't live without their laptops or cell phones in-flight won't have to worry about a thing with WiFi and this app!
Steven Slater made quite a name for himself over the summer when he lost his temper with a passenger on a JetBlue that landed in New York. A flight attendant at the time, he escaped the flight through an emergency exit carrying two beers with him! He no longer worked for JetBlue after that, but he is now happily employed and venting his emotions via a rap for Line2.
According to Billboard, the rap starts off with "My name is Steven Slater and I'm no longer blue." Oh, Steven Slater, did you really have to go there? The man needs to make a living, but a rapper he is not. He shouldn't be looking for any record contracts anytime soon! Check out Steven Slater's Line2 rap for yourself. That beat sounds so cheap, and his vocals are even cheaper! The things people will do to keep their fifteen minutes of fame going. Go here for the latest in entertainment news and gossip.
