There is maximum security looking after Bristol Palin during tonight's Season 11 finale competition of "Dancing With the Stars." Even after the white powder sent to the production studio was determined to be just talcum powder, tight security was still ordered for Palin.
According to Popeater, "Dancing With the Stars" will be in full lock-down mode on Monday night" when the final competition of Season 11 takes place. A source gave the following statement to P
opeater regarding the heightened security measures.
"Everyone is on high alert," the source says. "It's like a scene from 'The Bodyguard,' with Bristol playing the leading lady."
It seems that ABC personnel are claiming that hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent on maximum security for Bristol Palin following last Friday's threats.
"Nowhere in the world is going to be more secure than the 'Dancing' set on Monday," the source continued. "The audience will all go through extreme security checks and not even the president of the United States could get backstage without the appropriate credentials that evening."
It certainly sounds like there's more to these threats than what little has been shared with the public. It's ridiculous that someone would threatened Bristol Palin over a dancing competition. No, the poor girl can't dance, but she certainly doesn't deserve this kind of mistreatment. It's good that the "DWTS" producers are taken what they feel are necessary precautions to keep Bristol safe, but it all seems a bit over-hyped.
Hopefully the competition will go off without a hitch, and everyone, including Bristol Palin will remain perfectly safe. The biggest threat the future of "Dancing With the Stars" may be facing is lack of respect on behalf of fans, if Bristol Palin happens to win the Season 11 finale.
