As an actress with a booming career, it's no surprise that Amy Adams has felt the need to keep up with the typical Hollywood body image, making keeping fit and thin a top priority in the past. As a new mother to seven-month-old Aviana Olea, though, her priorities have been rearranged.
“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body — meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit,” Adams said in an interview for Sunday's issue of Parade. And while she recognizes that - unlike a lot of women who aren't in the public eye -  part of her career depends upon her keeping up her appearance, she went on to say that, “I’ve been working out when I can … but losing weight is not my number one priority. I don’t feel I’ve ever made my career on my rockin’ bod."
It is so refreshing to see a celebrity today setting realistic goals for both herself and the other new mothers who look up to her. Finally a celebrity mom who isn't rail thin three weeks post-delivery!

Amy is so refreshing! No, she made her career with her strong acting skills and her fantastic singing voice. The rockin' bod is just icing on the cake.
yes to the idea that having a beautiful daughter is more important than anything else.
