Dr. Drew is forecasting a dire end for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship. The TV psychiatrist and star of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” states that despite the façade
of a happy and close relationship, he thinks Angelina and Brad are set for a “phenomenal” “meltdown.”
Dr. Drew is known for several things but the fact that he is on TV makes many doubt his credibility. Also, one has to remember that Dr Drew has yet to actually sit down with either Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt to discuss the true details of their lives so his information about them is from the media. The media, in itself, canÂ’t always be trusted either. How many celebrity death stories are proven false each year?
To back up his opinion, Dr. Drew pointed out a few interesting things about Jolie and Pitt. Speaking about Angelina, he said, “There's no such thing as ‘I was a heroin addict.’ That doesn't exist in nature. Something is going on with [her] addiction. Or she's in recovery and I don't see any evidence that's the case. So we've got one person who's a heroin addict. Which is a chronic lifelong condition, period.”
Discussing Brad, Dr. Drew said, "We have another person who has said things like, ‘Well, Jennifer [Aniston] was into long-term relationships, that's just her way of looking at things.’ I mean, that demeaning attitude towards other people's emotions.”
Dr. Drew then said, “Now put those two people together and you have got a really volatile situation. And they're constantly creating things to weld themselves together. Which is only going to serve to make a more nuclear eruption. There will be some sort of meltdown that will be phenomenal when it does happen.”
Whatever happened to people changing and becoming wiser as they age. Despite what Dr. Drew believes, it can be possible that Angelina Jolie overcame her drug addiction behind the scenes and that Brad Pitt has grown as a person since his Aniston statement. WhoÂ’s to say what will happen to Brangelina?
In the end, Dr. Drew should really try not to comment on other celebrities especially ones he doesnÂ’t know personally. He should probably also refrain from saying such things while promoting his new show. It just makes him look like heÂ’s trying to get free publicity.
