Demi Lovato reaches settlement with Alex Welch

Singer/actress Demi Lovato has reached a settlement that will award Alex Welch some money.

Lovato got herself in to a bit of trouble before checking herself in to rehab for what's being called "physical and emotional issues." One of her backup dancers, Alex Welch, came forward and said that Lovato punched her in the face and even showed the bruises to support her case. Rumors flew around the internet, but the event was kept relatively quiet.

Now, TMZ is reporting that there was a financial settlement reached between Lovato and Welch for an undisclosed amount of money. While the money could be "hush money," it seems like there is some validity to this case. It's hard to believe that Lovato's camp would allow a financial settlement to pass if Lovato didn't punch Welch to begin with. No one knows if there was a fight or if  Lovato was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the alleged altercation; however, everyone pretty much agrees that Lovato punched Welch in the face.
