Holly Madison Upset About Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris’ Engagement?

Hugh Hefner’s recent engagement to Crystal Harris has reportedly left Holly Madison quite upset. During the first few seasons of “Girls Next Door,” Holly was Hugh’s main squeeze, literally. Madison was only 21 when she began dating Hefner in 2001. They were together for 7 years.

Holly, 31, had, time and again, nagged Hugh, 84, about marriage throughout their time together but Hefner made it very clear he was not going to marry her. During a 2008 interview, he said, "I love Holly very much and I think weÂ’re going to be together the rest of my life, but marriage isnÂ’t part of my puzzle. ItÂ’s not a personal thing; I just havenÂ’t had much luck with marriages."

Apparently, Hugh Hefner’s puzzle has been switched because he is now engaged to Crystal Harris, 24. A source that’s supposedly close to Hugh and Holly Madison said, “She can’t believe Crystal was able to get Hef to agree to something she had tried for so long.”

Unfortunately for Holly, Crystal seems to have attained what Madison had wanted for so long: an engagement to Hugh. Who can blame her for being upset? Madison tried for 7 years get hitched and to also have Hefner’s child. She openly showed PDA and talked about her love for the “Playboy” founder. It must sting a lot to know he’s going to be waiting at the end of the aisle for someone else.
