Robert Pattinson is currently in negotiations for another movie. The next role for the Twilight heartthrob could be in an adaption of the novel Cosmopolis. Where does he find the time?
Cosmopolis is a novel written by Don DeLillo. The story follows young financial whiz, Eric Packer as he journeys across a major city to get a haircut.
Packer travels in a limo filled with luxuries such as television screens and computer monitors. The limo is described in the book as being bulletproofed and floored with marble. The limo is also cork lined to eliminate street noise.
Over the course of the day, the man is faced with various obstructions and obstacles that have the ability to change his life forever. Gossip Cop reports that if negotiations go well, Paul Giamatti and Marion Cotillard will join Robert Pattinson in the film.
It seems like Pattinson is continuing to expand his acting portfolio. His next film, Water for Elephants, will be released in April 2011. He is currently working on the final chapter of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn which is being split into two movies. HeÂ’s a busy guy!
What do you think of this new possible role for Pattinson? Can you see him playing a dashing, young, financial whiz? LetÂ’s hope his character doesnÂ’t make it to the haircut, R-Pattz fans would hate to see him lose his trademark hair.
