"Teen Mom" star Gary Shirley may soon have another mode of gainful employment besides that of reality TV star. He plans to design a line of clothing for fathers and daughters.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Shirley has been working on a "daddy and daughter clothing line" that he hopes to see in production before too long. He plans for the clothing line to be called "Gary Time," and has already designed a logo for his business. The logo is a large clock that he sketched himself.
A source tells RadarOnline that Gary Shirley has already created some t-shirts to use as samples, too. He used his own sketches to design the t-shirts. He apparently has quite a knack for sketching. The t-shirts are said to be made already. It is uncertain to whom he will try to market these samples, or even if he plans to do that part of the work himself. He may hire a representative to look for backing.
Gary Shirley is the ex-fiancé of the infamous "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood, who has made far more news recently than she deserves. If she's not assaulting Shirley while on TV, she is out partying with a cellmate she met while in jail on assault charges. The two share a little girl, 2-year-old Leah. There is presently a no contact order being enforced, barring Portwood from coming near Gary Shirley, but Shirley would like to see the order lifted.
In the meantime he should continue working very hard on the samples to market for his father and daughter clothing line. One day the draw to reality TV is bound to dry up, and when that happens at least one of little Leah's parents will still have a job.
