Miss America Teresa Scanlan in Bikini - Too Young?

Teresa Scanlan is the new Miss America. At 17 she is the youngest ever to hold the title. The pictures of her in her bikini are bringing up questions if she is too young to be strutting her stuff at such a young age.

Have you seen any of the photos or video of Scanlan in her bikini? Honestly, they are pretty tame. Her black bikini from the pageant was actually fairly modest. There was no big problem with it. Many 17-year-olds throughout the country wear that little or less at beaches and pools everyday.

It is a bit unusual that Teresa Scanlan took home the crown of Miss America at only 17, but itÂ’s something she should be proud of. She now has a year to go around and be a role model for other young women in the U.S.

She will also benefit from the scholarship money that she won. Just because she wore a black bikini during the contest doesnÂ’t mean that it was bad. You can see a video below of Miss Nebraska winning it all last night.
