Mel Gibson: Domestic Violence Charges on the Way?

Mel Gibson could be facing domestic violence charges! Actually, some rumors are already forecasting it. However, Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley shot down those rumors by stating there was no decision yet. So, what is it heÂ’s holding out for?

Apparently, Cooley is awaiting more information about whether or not Oksana Grigorieva actually tried to blackmail Mel before he proceeds. Yeah, it looks like two wrongs wonÂ’t make Gibson head off to jail for domestic violence. Darn that slippery Mad Max (emphasis on MAD).

Anyhow, despite Mel GibsonÂ’s lawyer having a Tuesday meeting with one of Los AngelesÂ’ prosecutors over the matter, nothing was set in concrete.

Steve Cooley stated: "Information received will be taken into account in deciding whether or not to file charges. Any decisions made by the D.A.’s office in this case will be made public in a timely manner.”

That pretty much means the world will have to weigh it out to see whether or not Mel Gibson will be slammed with domestic violence charges. Geeze, maybe itÂ’s time to just give the guy a break! Gosh, ya hit one hysterical woman to shut her up and bam, you may go into the slammer! Yeah, thatÂ’s what happens! DidnÂ’t MelÂ’s mommy ever tell him to use his words and not his fists?
