According to a report from RadarOnline, none of this comes as a surprise to anyone who knows William and Kate. The two are described as being low-maintenance, no-fuss kinds of people.

The Isles of Scilly will be Prince William and Kate Middleton's honeymoon destination. Located not far from the town of Penzance, it is known for its lighthouses and beautiful beaches. William vacationed there as a child with his mother, the late Princess Diana, along with father Charles and brother Harry. It holds special meaning and very special memories for him.

Another reason Prince William and Kate Middleton are choosing such a budget-friendly honeymoon is their awareness of how the economy has impacted so many hard working people in their country. It would appear ostentatious for the couple to spend huge sums of money to play in a far off resort when they can have a wonderful time honeymooning closer to home.
