Lady Gaga already made a splash during her red carpet debut, when she was seen being carried in a semi-transparent egg, but true to form, she continued the dramatics during her Grammy performance.
As the first performer on the agenda this evening, Lady Gaga brought her "A" game, proving once again how her live show can more than hold up to the hype. Gaga was brought on stage by a posse of half-naked men and women, still carrying the egg, from which she then emerged, symbolic of emerging from the womb to go with the theme of being "Born This Way."
Gaga exited from the egg wearing the same get-up as her entourage, while belting out the beginning lyrics of her newest single, "Born This Way". While not as dramatic as the "Paparazzi" performance last year, Lady Gaga still managed to make quite the statement, while her fans--known collectively as Little Monsters--cheered on enthusiastically, grateful for her tolerant message.
What did you think about Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" performance? And what was up with her and the dancers' bony shoulder?
