Jessica Simpson has always been a curvy girl and seemingly comfortable with her body. That likely is about to change now that she's hired on a personal trainer to help her shed pounds in time for her wedding.
The 30-year-old singer has sought the help of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson to help her achieve this pre-wedding goal.
"She wants to look healthy," Tracy told Us Weekly. She added that Jessica, 30, "is in the mind-set that this is a big, forever lifestyle shift."
It is a big lifestyle change if Jessica plans to stick to it, but she doesn't have to stick to the strict routine she's currently undergoing to stay slim for life. What exactly is her routine, anyway? The routine consists of 74 minute workouts four times a week. Sounds pretty harsh, but hey, if it works who are we to cast stones? In fact, from the reports out there, Jessica loves it and is seeing great results.
Jessica tweeted about what seems to be her way of accepting and adjusting to changes within and without. "Let us all stretch our limits and become who we're meant to be... do it gently because the force that comes along with that choice will yell at us until we scream back at it. Listen and Scream!! It is ok. Be gentle," she tweeted a couple of weeks ago.
The only problem now is that the young girls out there might have lost one of their few role models that are not runway model thin. It was nice to have at least a few real looking average shaped celebrities out there that they could look up to.
