Khloe Kardashian hasn't been shy about talking about wanting children. The reality star now opens up saying that she doesn't know why it's taking so long to get pregnant.
"If it happens, it happens," the 26-year-old tells Us Weekly. "It takes time, I guess."
While she's right that it can take time, there's some concerns if the trying stage lasts a year or longer. Healthy young couples that have been engaging in unprotected sex should fall pregnant within a year. Should they not fall pregnant within that year, concerns of infertility are raised.
"I don't know what the problem is," Kardashian tells Us Weekly.
Many women have bouts of unexplained fertility despite being otherwise healthy and young. Is Khloe one of them? It's possible, but it's also possible that they have just not had the timing right, too. The couple haven't actively been trying, but from all reports it seems they are not actively preventing a pregnancy, either. With some luck they will be making that all-important announcement that she is indeed with child soon.
What do you think? Is she facing infertility troubles or are they just taking their time conceiving? Weigh in below.
