Bristol Palin plans to include her experience on Dancing With The Stars in her memoir. Palin was a runner-up on the show during season 11 and believes the time spent in rehearsals and lessons is worthy of inclusion in the book.
According to People magazine, Palin will call her book Not Afraid of Life. She feels that her time on DWTS showed her breaking out of her shell and becoming her own woman.
HarperCollins will publish the memoir that Bristol Palin is writing. They have released a statement about the book, saying it includes "an inside look at her life, her world and the things that matter most, including her family and the faith that keeps her centered."
Dancing With The Stars likely made a huge impact on Bristol Palin. It represented the first time this young, single mother left her home in Alaska and set out on her own. It was the catalyst behind her move to Arizona, and it afforded her the home that she purchased there for herself and her son Tripp.
Do you think Bristol Palin has experienced enough life to even be writing a memoir? Even though she has had the experience of having appeared on DWTS, has she had enough unique life experiences to write this book?
Most people who pen memoirs are significantly older than Bristol Palin. They typically write the books while reflecting back on the many facets of their lives. It just doesn't seem that aside from being the daughter of Sarah Palin that Bristol Palin has done anything particularly memoir-worthy.
