Miley Cyrus has been nominated for three Kid's Choice Awards, and has released a video to thank her fans for the nominations! It's always nice to hear when a celebrity takes time to show appreciation for the fans who support them!
At any rate, Miley is nominated for awards in three categories - Favorite TV Actress, Favorite Movie Actress, and Favorite Female Singer. She has certainly come a long way from Hannah Montana, but her tween fans seem to love her all the same.
Miley may have some trouble snagging all three awards, as she has some tough competition in two out of three categories. She should be fine with the Favorite TV Actress award, for her role in Disney's Hannah Montana, but the other categories look pretty grim for Miley Cyrus.
For the Favorite Movie Actress award Cyrus is competing against, Ashley Judd, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Watson. The favorite among these is likely Kristen Stewart, since the younger audience seems to be in Twilight Saga heaven right about now.
For the Favorite Female Singer award Cyrus is nominated along with, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift. While Miley is favored among teenagers and some adults for her musical talents, Katy Perry, and Taylor swift both have a huge fan base, and one of the latter two are more likely to snag this award.
