Charlie Sheen finally officially got canned from the hit CBS show "Two and a Half Men." What will the officially unemployed "winner" do now?
Sheen took to interviews to rant after the firing (is anybody surprised). Charlie Sheen said that he actually received a text message informing him of his pink slip. He told Access Hollywood, "I got a text or something. Here's another thing -- these guys are such yellow cockroaches that they didn't even have the decency to call me. I put 5 bill[ion] in their cheap suit pockets and another half a bil' in what's-his-cheese's pockets and this is the... respect I get? It's just deplorable and they should be ashamed of themselves!"
Now a text message is indeed a bit much, but Charlie Sheen has been a bit much these past couple of weeks. Now that he's officially sans job, there are some possible job opportunities that he ought to look into.
For instance, the "SNL" skits of the crazed actor have been a huge hit, so perhaps he should look into hosting the show or even being a surprise guest. That is something that people would certainly tune in to watch.
Then, of course, there was the sadly lacking "Sheen's Corner" live webcast. That could be saved if he does a better job next time. There could be something here, but Sheen doesn't have very long to turn it around.
Plus, Charlie Sheen has over 1 million followers @charliesheen, so there has to be a way for him to capitalize off of that. He could start being one of those Twitter spammers promoting ads. With that many followers, he could make some bank doing that at least until people fall off the tiger blood wagon.
Word is that he is also working on a book, so perhaps that will pay off. Of course, he probably has to be able to find somebody willing to buy it at his inflated price.
While it is sad news that Charlie Sheen was officially fired from "Two and a Half Men," it seems that there are still ways for the unemployed actor to continue making money. If he would straighten up, then he just may even be able to get a job acting again too.
