Charlie Sheen has finally seen the light and realizes that he is indeed losing his mind. He's reaching out for help now, in his darkest time of need, but is it too late to save him?
It's no secret that Charlie Sheen's mental capacity isn't running at it's best. Through the past few weeks, this fact has become more and more evident as he assaults anyone who dare stand in his way of 'winning.' Now, Sheen admits to one thing he's not winning: The battle for keeping his sanity.
In the latest issue of Life & Style, Sheen admits that he is losing his mind. It seems that perhaps all this talk of winning was his way of trying to prove to himself that things were not as bleak as they truly were, and now, he's seen the light.
"I'm really starting to lose my mind," says Sheen. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."
That has got to be the one line that will shock everyone more than anything he's said over the last several weeks. He's admitting he's got a problem and he's looking to call in people to help, but is it too late? Is he too far gone to save?
His lawyer seems particularly concerned that Sheen may take his own life. If that's true, then the situation may be worse than anyone ever imagined it could be.
"I"m really trying to contain myself right now," says Sheen. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."
Even if Charlie isn't displaying suicidal tendencies, it seems that letting his lawyer remove the bullets might be a pretty good idea. There's no telling what can happen at any time that could give him that one, last, final push. Maybe, just maybe, it's a necessary precaution, and hopefully Charlie has allowed it to happen.
A friend who was with Sheen when he was fired weighs in on how dark the situation truly is at the house. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
Right now his biggest priority lies in the hands of the court. He wants to get his children back. Could it be that they were the ones keeping him grounded and now that they are gone all's lost? It's very possible.
"I'll do anything to get them back. Now I don't give a f**k about the show or about anything [else]."
Friends of the troubled star are understandably concerned for him, and they do think that the possibility of him taking his own life is a very real danger.
All the world can do is stand by and watch the man they once loved fall apart at the seams and to hope for the best.
