Jackass star Chris Pontius' wife has reportedly filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." The 36-year-old Pontius ("Party Boy" from the Jackass TV series and films) and wife Claire Nolan have been together for a while, having married in 2004, so news that the party has ended for the couple is saddening. News of Pontius' divorce comes as the actor is busy promoting his latest film, Jackass 3.5. Pontius and Nolan met while he was promoting the first Jackass movie in Ireland in 2003.
According to TMZ, Claire Nolan filed divorce papers from Chris Pontius in Los Angeles, California, last week. Not only did Nolan request that a judge grant her a divorce, she also noted that she and Pontius "officially separated back in 2009." Fortunately, no children are involved, though it's always sad to see a couple call it quits. And a two-year separation seems long enough to decide if divorce is the way to go.

In addition to starring on MTV's Jackass TV show and film series, Chris Pontius also starred in a Jackass spin off show, Wildboyz, for several years. His other movie credits include the 2010 Sofia Coppola-directed drama Somewhere and the 2003 action-comedy Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
