Kate Gosselin back on the dating scene?

In what appeared to be a celebration of Kate Gosselin's 36th birthday in New York City just nearly a week ago, may have been a set up for something of a different kind.

Last Friday night, Kate, without her eight kids in tow, celebrated her birthday at a restaurant in New York City.  What many didn't know, however, was that Kate Gosselin was not only sporting a sexy black cocktail dress, but also a camera crew.

The reality star, who is single and ready to debut another season of her hit reality show Kate Plus 8 was rumored to be meeting men that night.  Could reports be true?  Could the reality star be making her mark on the dating scene and in another reality show involving her love life?

According to Showbiz Spy, the reality star  "was all dolled up in a black cocktail dress, brought a camera crew and was chatting up a lot of guys. It wasn’t clear if they were actors or not."  Although reports are clearly speculation, Gosselin has admitted to be back on the dating scene.

This could be the beginning of Kate Gosselin finding new love. But is this also another on-camera opportunity?  Nothing has been confirmed, but in the meantime, fans can get their fix on the reality star in April when Kate Plus 8 returns to TLC.

Carole Brett Mar 28, 2011, 2:50pm UTC Pity the next poor man who gets tangled up with Kate!! She is overbearing, degrading, loves the spotlight, even at the expense of her kids. She is a poor excuse for a wife and mother. I would guess that the men and camera crew were all hired because she is really missing the spotlight. Please spare us all another season of her dragging her kids all over the place shreiking "Look over there kids. Those people are the paparazzi and they are bad. Don't ever even use the word "paparazzi" Just look up their at them! And we'll have your birthday party in a very public place instead of at home where we have tons of room, and those paparrazi will show up there too. But don't look at them they're bad! So I will be sure to point them out to you, your friends, and their parents. And we might invite your daddy but he's so stupid he won't know how to do anything. But don't worry I'll scream directions to him at the top of my lungs. He might even bring one of his bad girlfriends, and they're not paid actors--they're for real, so don't even look at them!!" etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., ad naseum. reply to this comment Chime in!
