Mila Kunis has been cast as the witch, Theodora, in Oz, the Great and Powerful, which is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz. James Franco has also signed on for the movie to play the title role of an illusionist.
Theodora is a good witch who turns bad after Franco's character rejects her sexual advances. This prequel to The Wizard of Oz may be racier than the earlier films were from the way the plot sounds.
Sam Raimi will be directing Mila Kunis and James Franco in the film. Kunis most recently starred alongside Oscar winner Natalie Portman in Black Swan, and she is also well known as Jackie on TV's That '70s Show.
Franco and Kunis are no strangers to being a couple in a movie—they played a couple in Date Night, which starred Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Mila Kunis is continuing to prove that she is no "one trick pony."
Are you looking forward to watching Mila Kunis and James Franco on the big screen in Oz, the Great and Powerful? Do you think this film will end up being appropriate for younger audiences?
