Miley Cyrus said "no" to opening another Twitter account, saying to do so would be hypocritical. After halting all tweets, she says if she needs to say something to fans, she'll use her producerÂ’s account. Even a blog is off limits at this point.
The former Disney star of "Hannah Montana" and "So Undercover" has grown up since turning 18 months ago. In a report that surfaced today by Ace Showbiz, Miley Cyrus reiterates her pledge to "tweet no more."
Recall that she closed her account in 2009, having done so cold-turkey. That sent her adoring fans into a tailspin, as they struggled to understand why she pulled the plug.
It appears that Miley Cyrus is tired of the tabloid rumors, and this is her way of taking charge and empowering herself to "just say no" to any negative publicity online and in the tabloids.
However, she left the door wide open by saying that if she wants to communicate with her fans, she will use her producer's Twitter account under the name of @Rock_Mafia ROCK MAFIA FOREVER xMC.
So is she returning to blogs and Twitter? Yes, but in a roundabout way, perhaps to just save face by pledging to not open another account. In this way, she is in compliance of her 2009 terms.
But to use her producer's account is just a workaround. But only Miley Cyrus can get away with talking side-ways in the world of tabloid speak.
Technically, Miley Cyrus is returning to Twitter, albeit a part time basis.
