The two teamed up for the song Baby Boy, which was a huge hit in 2003, and there is some speculation that they may have hooked up around that time as well. Coincidentally, Beyonce began dating her husband, rap mogul, Jay-Z in 2002, making this a scandal.
While it's reported that Sean Paul claims he had relations with Beyonce while she was "on a break" from Jay-Z, there may be more to this twisted puzzle. The two may have dated casually but there was never a full blown relationship, which is why the public never knew about this until now.
Rumor has it that Jay-Z still has a problem with Sean Paul, and won't let Beyonce near him. In a way, who can blame him? Being "on a break" with someone can mean many different things. Some people feel that a break is the freedom to go out and see other people. Some people believe that taking a break means finding your inner peace and reconnecting with the person you're on break from. It's not really a free pass to have a fling with a hot reggae singer, is it?
Does Jay-Z have a right to be mad? Should Sean Paul be bringing this up now almost ten years after the fact?
