A photo showing actress Julianne Moore as Hillary Clinton for the movie A Special Relationship is out, and it's an eye-opener. Moore was originally scheduled to play Clinton in the HBO movie. Apparently she dropped out of the project because she was shooting The Kids Are All Right. Before that happened, though, she did a "makeup test" shot as Clinton. The result is stunning: Moore does bear a striking resemblance to the former First Lady (and current Secretary of State). Maybe slightly younger, but no matter. Amazing.
The photo of Julianne Moore as Hillary Clinton was published by BlackBookMag.com. In the head shot, a smiling Moore does look an awful lot like Clinton - she has the Hillary hair, power suit and accessories (pearls, pearls and more pearls). Not entirely sure that Mrs. Clinton has ever smiled quite this widely though. If you had any trouble at all picturing Moore as Clinton, the photo in the link above should help.
Julianne Moore never did get to play Hillary Clinton (the role went to Hope Davis) but she will soon be seen portraying another formidable female politician. She'll play Sarah Palin in the HBO movie Game Change. So far, no photos of Moore made up as Palin have surfaced - but if the Hillary Clinton transformation is any indication, Moore should have no problem playing Palin.
