Even before Kate Middleton's royal wedding to Prince William, the pregnancy rumors and predictions were flying. Famously pregnant Victoria Beckham attended the lovely affair last Friday, and the word is that she sent the newly named Duchess of Cambridge a lovely selection of maternity wear from her own line.
Many people think that Kate Middleton's job is to produce an heir for Will within a year. With the ink on the marriage license barely dry, the speculation has certainly begun as to when the royal couple will start their family.
Apparently, Victoria Beckham wants to make sure that the new princess has fashionable clothing when she does find herself in the family way with William's heir. A source told ShowBizSpy:
It's no secret that Kate and William will be starting a family sooner than later, so Victoria thinks it's not inappropriate to introduce Kate to her designs. Being pregnant herself, Victoria is more than aware of how difficult it can be for expectant mothers to find fashionable clothes, and she's hoping to get Kate sold on her range nice and early.
It would certainly be a huge coup for Victoria Beckham if Prince William and Kate Middleton do get pregnant soon and the princess ends up wearing the clothing line during her nine months. It seems a bit soon, though, for people to be sending Will and Kate maternity samples, doesn't it? It sounds like the former Spice Girl sent them out before the couple even had their royal wedding.
