Donald Trump was ridiculed and made the butt-end of many a joke during the White House Correspondents Dinner earlier this week, but at least he got to meet Scarlett Johansson. A snapshot of the celebrity, who's about to star in The Avengers, can be seen with a wide-grin as she's shaking hands with the mogul and Celebrity Apprentice host, but don't let this imagery fool you.
Scarlett Johansson, who just publicly announced her relationship with Sean Penn, is not a fan of Donald Trump or his political values. In fact, she quickly squashed any controversy that may arise from this photograph and told sources that she is a Wolf Blitzer fan, and even though she was excited to meet Donald Trump, she thinks his views are preposterous.
That's great, because she seems far too level-headed to be excited about the birther movement or anything of that crazy variety. She, like any other person, was just excited to meet someone like The Donald, who has been a household name for decades. Who wouldn't smile and shake his hand, even if he is a little crazy?
Relax, folks, she isn't a Trump fan. So it's better to focus on her public outing of her romantic relationship with Sean Penn. What a duo, right? She's young, attractive, and has never been the controversial type. He's quite a few years older than she and was even married to Madonna back in the 80s when the Material Girl was a bad, bad, bad girl. Here's to a beautiful relationship, because opposites certainly do attract! And Donald, don't worry, Scarlett Johansson will recover from the photo with you.
