OMG, were Beyonce and Jay-Z booed on the red carpet Monday in NYC at the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala? The beloved couple is royalty in American entertainment, so why were they pelted with verbal scorn?
The best of who's who in entertainment and Hollywood were at the annual costume extravaganza. The theme for this year's event paid tribute to Alexander McQueen, the eccentric punk-rock designer who committed suicide last year.
Sarah Burton, the creative director who is responsible for designing the famous dress for Kate Middleton, now Duchess Catherine, was on hand to lead the event.
Of course B and Jay were on hand as well. In fact, the "Bootylicious" songstress wore a good and tight, cleavage-hugging Pucci dress that left nothing to the imagination.
Pamela Grier, there's a new sheriff in town, and she has a rich man.
She wore it well, and all at the cost of not being able to walk unassisted.
You see, the dress was so tight, she could not pivot naturally, or stop for every photo-op. This explains why Beyonce and Jay-Z were booed?
Blame it on the darn dress, because the paparazzi showed their dismay in her not stopping long enough for their sea of cameras. That is no reason to boo Beyonce and Jay-Z.
She did her best and if it were not for the constricting Pucci dress, she would oblige them in snapping the perfect picture of her curvy body.
She was sporting her "bootylicious" dress that outlined her coke-bottle figure, and it was no doubt she was the most dazzling dame at the gala. But that didn't stop Beyonce and Jay-Z from being booed. Enough already! Check out the video below.
As for Jay-Z, what'up with the fro, bro?
