The worldwide appreciation of Pippa Middleton's backside continues to grow as September 9th has been officially declared "Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Day."
Jimmy Wevell is the creator of the event and is grateful to Pippa for having given him a reason to be interested in the royal wedding: "I watched the royal wedding and the only thing that was entertaining me was Pippa's ass, I have to thank her for it."
Millions of people have joined various Facebook groups to celebrate Pippa's bottom, which has become a celebrity in its own right after the wedding of Pippa's older sister, Kate to Britain's Prince William. About 150 people so far have confirmed their "attendance" at the September 9th event.
Wevell chose the Friday after Pippa's birthday to celebrate "Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Day." No word yet on what these celebrations might entail, though if it's anything like other internet events, the day will come and go with no activity whatsoever.
This all seems rather pathetic--it's one thing to say you admire someone's figure or even to create a Facebook page dedicated to someone's attractiveness. Heck, half the pages on Facebook serve that very purpose. But creating an 'appreciation day?' That somehow seems beyond good taste.
