In a recent GQ Magazine interview, Courtney Love reminisced about her deceased husband, Kurt Cobain. That's hardly surprising, of course, since the late grunge rock icon was not only the love of her life, he was also the genesis of her fame and fortune. It wasn't the fact that she talked about the legendary rocker that shocked some people, it's what she said.
When the always irrepressible but never predictable Courtney Love was asked if she thought Brad Pitt would be able to accurately portray Cobain in a biopic, Courtney replied:
Kurt had more presence and more beauty than Brad Pitt. He was a leader, he was strong, in fact he was well f****** hung, if you really want to know.
O...kay. Why Courtney felt the need to blurt out that tidbit of TMI about the size of Cobain's genitals remains a mystery. Was she implying that Brad Pitt is underhung—or at least not as well hung as Cobain, and therefore unfit to portray him on film? Perhaps. Of course, since the biopic will, presumably, not be a porn film, the size of the leading man's genitalia is irrelevant. Also, how could Courtney Love possibly have any idea of the size of Brad Pitt's genitals? Unless... Yikes. Let's hope Angelina Jolie doesn't read GQ.
Courtney went on to confirm "a long-standing rumour" that Quentin Tarantino had originally cast Kurt Cobain in his 1994 classic film, Pulp Fiction.
"You ever wonder why he thanked Quentin [Tarantino] on the back of 'In Utero'?" explained Love rhetorically. "Quentin asked him to play Eric Stoltz's part in Pulp Fiction."
Well, that clears up the Pulp Fiction rumor. As for Kurt Cobain's... or rather, as for Brad Pitt's... Well, whatever. That's just Courtney Love.
