Scotty McCreery was crowned American Idol last week. Next, he was fending off rumors about a relationship with Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina. Now he says he wants to record duets with Alaina. What does the future hold for these two young talents?
According to Taste of Country, it likely holds a very promising career. It's clear in addition to a close friendship (whether or not that equals relationship remains to be seen) they hold each other's careers in the highest regard. McCreery says he'd love to record duets with Lauren Alaina.
"We've been together since day one, and we're still together," Scotty McCreery said in a recent interview. "We met the first day in Hollywood, we've been good friends through it all, we've been classmates. I just said this ain't the end and we're gonna keep on working. We sound good together. It'd be nice to get some duets."
And those duets would indeed be nice, wouldn't they? These two young singers are talented beyond belief, and their unique sounds blend to create music that is just this side of heavenly. And who knows? If they aren't involved in a relationship right now, just think what working together and rising together in their careers could do for that aspect of their lives.
Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina seem to be about as down to earth as they come. Both claim strong religious beliefs and good old fashioned values. What a fine example they would set for others in this world of crass performers who put their own needs, selfish wants and high profile mess-ups out there for the whole world to see.
