Ramona Singer is used to life in the spotlight, being on The Real Housewives of New York City and all, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it gets any easy having rumors and other negative speculation run amok about you.
Take for example recent speculation that the housewife may be drinking to excess. Surely there are many people--men and women of all demographics--who when put under the microscope like Singer would raise eyebrows about their nightly Scotch or glass of wine, but does that mean there is a problem?
While at a recent event at the Southampton Social Club, Ramona Singer responded to the rumors, telling In The Mixx, "Do I overdrink? No. I drink with responsibility. I drink with a beautiful dinner. I would rather have my one or two glasses of Pinot Grigio than dessert which is 700 calories."
In fact, the way Ramona tells it, Bravo (the network behind the hit Real Housewives franchise) has cropped the footage to create a storyline that involves around her drinking, making it seem as though she's always after a glass of wine and having the other characters question if she has a "drinking problem."
Not only that, but Singer makes a valid point in that all the women--aside from Jill Zarin--are drinking at the same time. Most of the show revolves around the women at social occasions, after all.
What do you think? Do you think Ramona Singer has a drinking problem? Or do you think that Bravo has distorted the footage for rating's sake?
