Arnold Schwarzenegger and daughter Katherine got together for lunch on Wednesday, and it's reported that the topic of conversation was Dad's infidelities. That must have been a difficult topic to broach.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Katherine Schwarzenegger met dad Arnold at Cafe Roma in Beverly Hills. She has reportedly been quite distraught over recent news of her father's numerous indiscretions, but the conversation over lunch apparently went quite well.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in the limelight ever since word of his separation from wife Maria Shriver went public. Just a few days later, however, he was front and center for an affair he had many years ago with a member of his family's household staff, Mildred "Patti" Baena. That relationship resulted in a love child--a boy named Joseph, who is now 13 years old.
It's got to be awfully difficult for a 21-year-old daughter to deal with her father's infidelity. Hopefully despite Arnold Schwarzenegger's poor decision-making, he can at least maintain good relationships with his children.
Katherine and Arnold Schwarzenegger left their lunch date on Wednesday smiling, so hopefully that's an indication that their conversation went well. While Katherine has reportedly forgiven her dad, it's still a very uncomfortable situation--especially between a father and a daughter.
