Buzz Aldrin Files for Divorce a Third Time

Buzz Aldrin may have had significant professional success, but his personal life seems to be less of a smash hit. The former astronaut (and second man to walk on the moon!) has split from his wife, Lois Driggs Cannon, due to "irreconcilable differences" after 23 years of marriage. This divorce will be his third.

The 81-year-old has recently made a "comeback," having garnered some newfound attention as a contestant on the hit reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars. Even still, isn't it a bit late in life to file for a divorce? Seriously, after nearly a quarter of a decade, do you really think you can't stand to be with that person until the end? Not only that, but do you think you're going to do better at age 81?

The good news? Buzz Aldrin and Lois Driggs Cannon, having married Valentine's Day in 1988, have no children together, both being of advanced age when they wed, making the division of assets much easier!
