Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart certainly qualify as young Hollywood royalty. And soon, the glamorous Twilight Saga co-stars may get the chance to hob-knob with real royals when Prince William and Kate Middleton visit Los Angeles next month.
On their visit to the U.S. next month, Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend an event called Brits to Watch which will feature "40 up and coming British talents." It's possible that Robert Pattinson could be among them, along with other entertainment luminaries from "across the Pond" like Emma Watson and Gemma Arterton. The inaugural $25,000 per-table BAFTA Brits to Watch dinner, is already sold out. Reportedly, The Hollywood Reporter, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Disney have already reserved tables.
If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart do attend the event, R-Pattz will definitely have some 'splainin' to do when he and his girlfriend meet Prince William and Kate. Pattinson has often mentioned in interviews that when he first came to the U.S., he used to lie about knowing the royal family, although, in reality he had never met any of them. It will be interesting to see what happens when he finally comes face to face with his "royal friends." Apparently, Rob never heard the old poem about deceiving and weaving tangled webs.
Oh well, the BAFTA Brits To Watch event will be held on July 9 at the Belasco Theater. Good luck, Rob and Kristen. Brazen it out.
