No one expected Denise Richards to adopt a little girl last week. Friends, family, no one had a clue. Though friends were a bit shocked, Richards planned the adoption for some time.
It turns out that Richard's mother inspired Denise's adoption of newborn Eloise Joni. It was a seed planted in discussions as far back as 2007. A friend of Denise Richards explains that it was this inspiration, and some good timing, that led her to adopt now:
Denise has wanted to adopt for a long time and this was something she talked about with her mom before she passed away...She wanted to wait to start the process until things were calm with her custody of her two daughters she has with Charlie, and mourning her mom.
That's interesting. Make sure everything is kosher with Charlie "Tiger Blood" Sheen dealing with the custody of the first two children before introducing an infant into the mix. This has reportedly been in the works for at least two years and Sam and Lola are excited to have a new little sister.
Just the other day, Denise Richards did get Eloise Joni, who was named for her mother, out of the house during a girl's day out... the first of many for the happy little family!
