Emma Watson stepped outside of her London hotel on Wednesday, all dressed up for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. But before she headed to the theater to walk the red carpet, she stopped to visit with fans and sign some autographs.
According to OK! magazine, Watson looked gorgeous in a black lace dress and high-heeled pumps. Yet, despite her beauty and her immense talent, she has never forgotten that the fans have played a huge role in getting her to where she is today.
Emma Watson posed for pictures with many of these fans, some of whom had waited outside her hotel for many hours. Once she arrived at the red carpet gala, she greeted fans who had started lining up on Tuesday for a chance to catch a glimpse of her. There she signed even more autographs and chatted with lots of devoted Harry Potter fans.
How nice that Emma Watson hasn't allowed her fame to go to her head. It's so disappointing when fans wait for a glimpse, a nod or a quick autograph from a celebrity--only to have them look in the other direction and hurriedly pass them by. Watson clearly understands the role her fans play, and she cordially provides them with that little bit of attention they crave.
Noticeably absent from the film's premiere was its main star, Daniel Radcliffe. Since he is presently performing on Broadway, he was unable to attend.
That probably left even more fans for Emma Watson to spend time with, but she didn't appear unhappy at all about doing so. And the ones who had the opportunity to speak with her, pose for a picture, or leave with a coveted autograph will likely decide that the wait to see their beloved Hermione Granger was well worth the effort.
