Angelina Jolie Loses To Jennifer Aniston in Race To Hollywood Immortality

Angelina Jolie is having a rough month--and the month is just beginning. First, Brad Pitt seemed to diss her before the world by allowing a mystery brunette to get openly "touchy-feely" with him on the set of his new film, World War Z. That didn't sit well with Angie who finally caused a scene by showing up on the set and lashing out at the flirtatious hussy face to face. Now, perhaps most embarrassing of all, the gorgeous, sought after, Oscar-winning Jolie has been beaten out in the quest for Hollywood immortality by none other than Brad Pitt's long-suffering ex-missus, Jennifer Aniston.

Yes, believe it or not, Jennifer Aniston has at long last bested Angelina Jolie at something. On July 7, the Horrible Bosses star added her hand and footprints to those of Hollywood royalty in the cement outside the fabled Grauman's Chinese Theater. On hand to cheer her on were her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, her Horrible Bosses co-star, Jason Bateman, and her barnacle-like hanger-on, insult comedian Chelsea Handler. Oh well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Oddly enough, Jen's long-time BFF, Courtney Cox, was a no-show. Reportedly, Jen "looked gorgeous as she got down and dirty...leaving her signature along with her hand and footprints in the wet cement..." Eyewitnesses say she even blew Justin Theroux a kiss.

But what about Angelina Jolie? Was she at home clenching her fists in bitter disbelief and hissing: "Curses! Foiled again!?" Or words to that effect?

Who knows?

What is known is that Jen is scheduled to receive another professional accolade next year when she'll get her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Take that, Lara Croft.

In the meantime, Jen's not alone in the rarefied atmosphere of Grauman's Hollywood
legends. Brad Pitt had his prints set in Grauman's Chinese Theater cement in 2007. However, so far, he doesn't have a star on the Walk of Fame.

Angelina Jolie doesn't have either one.

Oh well, the triangular saga of Angie, Brad, and Jen continues. Congrats, Jen. Angelina, don't despair. Brad, ...whatever.
