Denise Richards only recently broke the news that she had adopted a newborn baby girl named Eloise via a domestic adoption in June. Now the celebrity mother spent the weekend celebrating the new arrival by throwing the baby a baby shower.
The shower, boasting a "Three's a Crowd" theme as a play on her three daughters, took place Saturday at the Beverly Hills Montage Hotels. Celebrity guests feted the now weeks-old baby girl, including fellow mothers Tori Spelling, Lisa Rinna, Ali Landry, Nancy O'Dell and Ali Sweeney were all expected to be in attendance at the baby shower.
As for Denise Richards, she was "so excited for Eloise's shower," at least according to a tweet she sent out beforehand.
As for the decor, Richards cleverly made a play on the classic Eloise children's book series, using pink and black flowers and a cake-topper to accentuate the room. Guests sipped champagne and ate cake, all while showering Denise Richards' littlest daughter with boutique baby gifts.
Though a post-delivery baby shower is unusual, in instances where a child is adopted, it seems like a great way to be able to celebrate the arrival of a new child!
Congrats to Denise Richards and her sweet brood of baby girls!
