Kate Middleton's style is always the center of attention these days. Today she was again the focus of fashion followers everywhere as she stepped out for a wedding. It was royal wedding #2 for William and Kate today as they attended the ceremony for Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips. The big day for the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth took place at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Though a new addition to royal events, Kate Middleton looked stylishly appropriate for both of the wedding events - cocktails and ceremony. The theme of the wedding weekend style was "recycle." Yesterday the princess wore a green Diane Von Furstenberg that she was seen wearing last month on the couple's trip to Los Angeles. Today, Kate chose to recycle an embroidered coat she also wore in 2006 at the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles. Kate Middleton says of choice to repeat outfits " Times are tough; I cannot be expected to wear a new outfit for every royal engagement. I am not a fashion model." There you have it - this style queen has no problem acting like one of the commoners and wearing her amazing clothing over and over again.
What did Prince William and Harry's cousin have to say about her wedding. She told Hello Magazine "My wedding will be nothing like Kate and William's. For a start, there won't be anywhere near as many people. It will be a lot smaller, just close family and friends. Kate and William's wedding was amazing but ours will be very different." Hopefully William and Kate didn't take all the spotlight on her wedding day! The princess seemed happy to be with her new family at an event where she wasn't the center of attention.
