Is Janet Jackson engaged? Rumor has it she is—and that she and Wissam Al Mana will get married before the end of the year. The word is they also plan to start a family very soon.
According to Hello Beautiful, Wissam proposed to Janet for the first time last fall, presenting her with a 15-carat engagement ring, but the 45-year-old performer said no. She wanted to focus solely on her upcoming concert tour at that time.
Janet Jackson is now telling friends that the two are busy shopping for an even larger engagement ring for her to wear, and that a wedding is most definitely in the plans. This should be a nice change for the entire Jackson family. They have been wrought with angst of various forms since the death of Michael Jackson. A wedding would give the family a happy occasion for which to come together.
Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana do want a family, too. And while Janet hopes she can conceive naturally, she is mindful of her age and the repercussions that can result from having waited so long. The two haven't ruled out adoption as a possibility.
It certainly sounds like congratulations are in order for Janet Jackson on either her engagement or her impending engagement to Wissam Al Mana. Hopefully that rock is huge and the plans for the wedding culminate in a perfectly joyous occasion.
